Get on the farm with Samta and meet reindeer too

Unable to operate their usual ‘Real Christmas Experience’ due to tier restrictions, the family fun venue is running ‘On the Farm with Santa’.

Tickets to the event will include admission to the farm and access to all outdoor areas, including the Adventure Playground and Animal Barn.

It also includes a meet and greet with Santa in the undercover Christmas area, which is protected from the rain, but is large, open and ventilated, so make sure to take along a coat.

There is a gift for every child from Santa’s Magical Toy Shop, a chance to meet the reindeer and socially-distanced animal handling sessions, along with (reduced capacity) tractor rides.

A spokesman for Rand Farm Park said: “We understand that this falls short of our usual ‘Real Christmas Experience’ and so have dramatically reduced the costs.

“In order to keep everybody safe, we have reduced our daily capacity too, so we anticipate that tickets will sell out quickly.

“Our catering team has worked up a takeaway only menu, which can be enjoyed on the go with a hot drink, it is December after all, and our gift shop will remain open for every day that we are open (December 18 - 24).”
