Get ready for SO Festival 2026 in Skegness and Mablethorpe
Mark your calendars – SO Festival 2026 is set to light up Skegness and Mablethorpe this summer, offering three days of arts, creativity, and community fun.
The festival, from June 12-14, promises performances, workshops, and events designed to bring local people and visitors together to celebrate culture on the Lincolnshire coast.
Organisers are encouraging locals and creatives to get involved, with opportunities to take part in fundraising workshops aimed at artists, freelancers, and cultural practitioners.
These free sessions offer practical tips on funding applications and help build skills to support long-term creative projects.

- In-person Grants Workshop & 1‑2‑1 Clinics – Friday, January 30, 11am–4pm at The Embassy, Grand Parade, Skegness. A chance to get advice directly from Arts Council England representatives.
- Online Fundraising Workshop – Friday, February 6, 3pm–5pm. Spaces are limited, so early registration is recommended.
The January workshop will also feature one of the festival’s regular Creative Meet-Ups, where local artists can network, share ideas, and get inspiration from one another.
SO Festival 2026 is shaping up to be a highlight of the summer on the Lincolnshire coast – whether you’re an artist, a family looking for something different, or simply enjoy exploring local culture, there’s plenty to discover.
