Tom Warrington, originally from Boston, has spent many years collating the information contained in the book, ‘Looking for Ghosts - Seeker of Truth’, which he said he is not only using to write down all his experiences, but to change people’s perceptions of the paranormal.

The book details his experiences of paranormal investigations across Lincolnshire - including Haverholme Priory, Temple Bruer Knights Templar Precepetory Tower and a haunted property in Aby, near Alford - and the UK, as well as chapters on the modern ghost hunter and religion.

The book was a huge success and, in the first week following its release on Amazon on November 27, reached the top three titles on Amazon's supernatural book charts and has even received interest in the USA.

Tom said: "I thought it would take a bit of time to get the word out there, I was really surprised when it did so well.

"I've been doing loads of interviews about the book and it's been really well received, it's had all five-star reviews and my second batch of signed copies sold out within the hour."

Tom’s fascination with the paranormal began as a child when he watched the infamous Ghostwatch in 1992, the mockumentary fronted by Sir Michael Parkinson.

“I was then given a book on the Enfield Hauntings not long after, which was the catalyst that spurred me on, and the rest is history,” he said.

After the success of his first book, Tom has now started work on his second novel which he hopes will be out later this year, although the topic of the book is currently a closely guarded secret.

Tom had been running his online radio show - the Pure Paranormal Radio Show - and has investigated many haunted locations across the county and the UK over the years, but presented his last show last week.

"It's been a memorable journey doing the show but because of the second book and I'm currently working on a new website, I just don't have the time to do it now, so we thought now was the time to go out on a high," he said.
