Barbara and Laura Daughtrey have been handed the accolade for their small batch of gin liqueurs and will exhibit at BBC Good Food Shows across the country this year, the Countryfile Live Show and the Lincolnshire Show.

Their firm, A Little Luxury, started in 2011 as a therapy for mum Barbara, who was involved in a life changing road accident. They began producing jams and preserves, but have recently developed a range of small batch artisan blended gin liqueurs.

Laura said: “Having made preserves for several years we are aware of the amazing fruit that Lincolnshire produces and wanted to combine this with our love of gin to create luxurious gin liqueurs.

“The response from our lovely customers to our gin liqueurs has been amazing and we have started to incorporate them within our preserves. In fact, we recently won three silver awards in the 12th World’s Original Marmalade Awards for our marmalades, two of which - Limoncello and Boozy Orange - included our gin liqueurs within them.”

Laura said they are looking forward to exhibiting at the BBC Good Food Show at the NEC in Birmingham on June 15-18, following a recent successful show in Harrogate with celebrity guest speakers including Tom Kerridge and Michel Roux.
