“The focus for the team is now on completing the southern section of the roundabout, as well as finishing up construction of the newly-aligned Lincoln Road.”

Some of the key works left to complete ahead of opening the new roundabout fully are:

• Carry out kerbing works, drainage installation and general construction of the southern section of the new roundabout

• Complete the drainage ditches, street light installation and final surfacing of the newly-aligned Lincoln Road

Councillor Davies continued: “Although some of the road closures and traffic restrictions in place have had to be extended due to utility issues and the snowy, wet weather we had after Christmas, we’re still on track to have the new roundabout complete and fully open this spring.
