The not for profit organisation will be turning the spotlight on ceramics at Manor House Gardens over the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend, May 23-25.

As part of the celebrations, residents in the area are invited to collect some free clay from Alford Pottery or the Alford Craft Market Shop, make a bird (or birds), and bring it back to Alford Pottery by the end of March for firing.

Birds can be any shape or size, real or imagined.

They will go display in a large installation during the weekend. At the end of the event, people will be able collect their bird if they want.
