Horncastle football team say thanks to Montebello

Horncastle U12 Football Team have thanked Montebello Ristorante, in Horncastle, for generously sponsoring their new training kit.

Chelsea Crooks, who is married to football team manager Jeff Masterton, said: “In September Montebello sponsored them and paid for all their jackets and training tops.

“Then of course we went into lockdown and the boys haven’t been able to wear them but now they can so they wanted to say a special thank you to Montebello as it isn’t exactly a good time for restaurants at the moment due to Covid-19 and Montebello still went ahead and spent quite a lot of money on the boys.

“Horncastle U12 struggle every year to get sponsors because there are so many teams to choose from. We are currently looking for sponsors for the new season from September next year. We are also looking for new players - children who will be in Year 8 from September next year can join us.”
