The pandemic has hit many industries hard, and photographers are one such group who have not been able to get out as much to take photos.

Usually Vicki’s calendar would have been booked out with weddings and family portraits, where she specialises in taking pictures that show the love and tenderness between bride and groom, or the playful joy of a family.

Jody Fletcher, who nominated Vicki, said: “Vicki is a photographer but so much more!

“She is an inspiring woman who manages to be a professional businesswoman, a teacher to students, a Mum and carer, a supporter and champion of many and a great friend.

“Vicki always puts everyone else’s needs before her own and I’d love to see her receive recognition for being the awesome woman she is!”

Founder and Managing Director of Business Success Network, Stacey Calder, said: “International Women’s Day was the perfect moment to acknowledge and honour women in business.

“We see a wealth of talent both in the corporate arena and in the self-employed.

“The increase in the number of women in the UK becoming self-employed is unprecedented.

“Historically, women have made up just 17% of the self-employed, however, in a report conducted in January 2020, the number of UK businesses currently owned by women is 32.37%.

“The Business Success Network’s ‘Women to Watch in 2021’ was the perfect way to celebrate these amazing women.”
