Robyn, whose mum Nikki is originally from Crowle, has a grey pony called Sophie, who was “the best birthday present ever” and she applied to the competition in the hope of scooping the prize.

A spokesman for Harry Hall said Robyn’s eagerness to understand exactly how Sophie thinks and feels is what made her application stand out, along with her general zest for life, love of cakes and passion for all things pink!

Harry Hall will now supply Robyn with £600’s worth of clothing and equipment over the coming year to help her achieve her equestrian ambitions.

In return, Robyn will write blogs for Harry Hall, share news of Harry Hall events with friends, and report back about how her clothing is performing.

“Harry Hall has been a favourite brand with young riders for decades – a tradition we are proudly continuing with some fantastic new ranges,” says Harry Hall sales and marketing director Rachel Bowles.

“So we are delighted to support this team of dedicated young riders, not all of whom own their own pony, as they strive to fulfil their goals.”

Robyn says: “I am so excited and proud to be chosen as a sponsored rider. We get to wear some lovely Harry Hall clothes but best of all PINK! Sophie and I are going to look like princesses.”

As part of the application process Robyn also had to have a social media page with at least 500 followers, visit https://www.facebook.com/Robynandsophie/, which now has over 700 and the number is growing ever day.

Mum Nikki added: “This is an amazing opportunity for her, she is a talented little girl and loves everything about her pony. Including poo picking!”
