Bell’s Pumpkin Patch, located at Bell’s Gardening Outlet, in Benington, is, once again, offering a wide range of activities for various ages.
Attractions include: two pick-your-own patches of pumpkins, gourds and squashes; pumpkin carving; a pumpkin market, featuring more than 200 varieties grown on site; the UK’s largest pumpkin cannon, a fundraiser for the Haven Domestic Abuse Service charity; pumpkin displays, this year themed on ‘birthdays’ (centenarian David Attenborough gets a nod); a vintage funfair; ride-on pedal tractors; crafts; photo stations; and food and drink.
A spokesman for the event reported a ‘fantastic’ opening weekend.
“We’ve put so much into making this year extra special and we are delighted to see visitors making the most of all of the activities on offer and the atmosphere across the opening weekend has been a real highlight for the team,” they said. “We are looking forward to meeting many more pumpkin pickers over the coming weeks!”
The patch will be open again tomorrow and Sunday (October 17 and 18), then from October 24-31.
Tickets – which must be booked in advance – can be found at www.bellspumpkinpatch.com.
