Thousands of people attended a colourful celebration of identity and inclusion in Skegness at the weekend.

Held at Tower Gardens on Saturday, East Coast Pride 2026 drew in around 5,000 from all across the country to enjoy the fun, vibrant atmosphere.

The free event featured entertainment on the main stage, including East Coast Pride's Got Talent 2026, a celebrity from RuPaul’s Drag Race, and a Take That tribute act.

An organiser for East Coast Pride said: "It was an amazing event and a fantastic day, despite a few spatterings of rain. Around 5,000 people joined us in the Tower Gardens, with visitors travelling from right across the UK to be part of it.

"The atmosphere was brilliant from start to finish. We had a lovely audience and a great vibe throughout the day, with a real showcase of local talent performing alongside our headline acts, including Re-Take That and the new Queen of the World, Michael Marouli from RuPaul's Drag Race.

"The feedback we've had so far has been overwhelmingly positive, and we're already looking ahead to next year."
