Inquiries ongoing after second bespoke vehicle stolen from Cadwell Park recovered

Lincolnshire Police have successfully recovered a second bespoke BMW which was stolen from Cadwell Park race circuit last month.

Officers were called in after the cars were taken shortly after midnight on January 26.

Police said the BMW X5 (medical car) and the BMW M240i (safety car) had a combined value of more than £100,000.

As previously reported, three men were arrested on February 9 after police recovered the BMW X5.

The men, aged 30, 34 and 50, were later released under investigation.

Now officers have located the BMW M240i - but stress that inquires are ongoing into the car thefts.

In a statement issued today (Thursday) a Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “The second BMW has now been recovered. Officers continue with their inquiries into the theft of both vehicles.”
