Investigation launched after woman found dead in Gainsborough

Lincolnshire Police were called to an address on Haldane Street, Gainsborough just before 10am on Thursday, September 24, following a report that a 20-year-old woman had died.

Officers are investigating the cause of her death.

A post mortem has taken place which has not been able to establish the exact cause of her death, and police enquires continue accordingly.

A 31-year-old-man who was arrested in connection with the investigation has now been released on bail.
