John Burton covered in excess of 1,500 miles across road and trail over the period in aid of the Royle Eye Clinic at Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital and the local branch of Guide Dogs. This included fell running, the Boston Marathon, plus two 24-hour events.

John – a member of the Boston Community Runners – recently presented a cheque for £570 to representatives from the Boston branch of Guide Dogs at one of the town’s parkrun sessions and also visited the hospital to see the equipment bought for patients.
