Legal firm lends support for kids’ Christmas gifting scheme

A Lincolnshire legal firm is supporting this year's Cash for Kids Mission Christmas.

Mission Christmas is an annual campaign run by Cash for Kids to ensure thousands of children receive gifts this Christmas and Chattertons, which has solicitors offices in towns across the county is supporting the cause.

The law firm says so many children are at risk of waking up without presents to open because Christmas is a luxury their families cannot afford. It'll be just like any other day. But Mission Christmas is coming back to make a difference so that Santa can reach them this year.

Cash for Kids Lincolnshire especially need gifts for babies and teenagers and have asked that all gifts are new and unwrapped, so that they can easily be sorted and sent to appropriate age groups.

Katherine Bunting, Partner and Head of the Charity Committee at Chattertons said: “Mission Christmas has a motto – Christmas for every child. That's our mission. And it is Chattertons' mission this Christmas too, to try to do our bit to make sure children living in poverty can have a great Christmas, whether they are living in a domestic abuse refuge, in temporary accommodation or in a home blighted by long term illness or unemployment.

"Please give whatever you can to help us, and Cash for Kids, make this the best Mission Christmas yet."

All Chattertons’ eight office locations will service as drop off points. All you have to do is drop your new and unwrapped gifts to reception teams at Boston, Grantham, Horncastle, Lincoln, Newark, Sleaford, Spalding or Stamford by Friday December 13.

Some of the gift ideas they suggest are:
