"The development of the site will extend the use of Skegness foreshore and encourage use of the facilities available from the central area north along Grand Parade / North Parade. By creating an exciting new development; visitors will be extracted to this area and the existing population will have use of further, more up-to-date facilities.
"Through a larger scale development on the site there will inevitably be a variety of job opportunities for people within the area.
"Providing improved facilities to the area will increase the areas overall use – which will in turn benefit the local economy and businesses. The proposed development will create a focal point at the end of the seafront."
