The centre, managed by sports and leisure operator Everyone Active in partnership with West Lindsey District Council, will follow the strict operational measures put in place by the government for this stage of the four-step roadmap.

Kerry O’Neill, Everyone Active’s contract manager, said: “We’re very much looking forward to reopening our centre and welcoming back the local community.

“After being closed for three months, the latest step in the Government’s roadmap is a positive move forward for the leisure industry and gives people of all ages the opportunity to resume activity and exercise in their leisure centre.

“Ensuring our colleagues and customers remain safe continues to be our number one priority and we have carefully considered the strict measures to ensure we adhere to the guidance.”

Ms O’Neill added: “We will be contacting all customers directly over the coming days regarding the reopening.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone back and thank them for their patience.”

Market Rasen is just is one of 200 leisure centres across the country managed by Everyone Active, along with the West Lindsey Leisure Centre in Gainsborough.

During closure, a comprehensive package of online workouts have been provided for people to use, along with livestreamed classes across its social media pages.

Anna Grieve, business development officer at West Lindsey District Council said: “The council is looking forward to working with Everyone Active to ensure all current members and future users have an enjoyable experience within our centres.

“As the roadmap opens up, we are looking forward to getting out into the community to help those not able to attend the centres to enjoy activity and exercise.”
