With this year’s golf day unable to go ahead, the club has dug into its reserves and sent a further donation of £500.

Rotarian David Mason said: “We were conscious fundraising for the ambucopter has slowed right down and wanted to help.

“The £500 was raised at last year’s Open Farm Sunday event, by selling burgers and buns.

“We also had a couple of donated Thermatex Rotary branded gilets intended for the golf day raffle auctioned/sold with a further £90 going toward keeping the Air Ambulance flying.”
