The jobs drive, held at Splash Waterworld today (Thursday), attracted people looking for summer work, permanent employment and the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications.
Among those attending to see what was on offer was the Mayor of Skegness, Coun Dan Kirk. He met members of staff and learn more about the roles available at one of Skegness' biggest employers.
More than 30 positions were being offered across the resort's leisure teams, including around 25 lifeguard and pool attendant roles.
Successful applicants were told they would have the opportunity to gain the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, fully funded by Butlin's, while earning £12.71 an hour.
The qualification also carries UCAS Tariff points, offering an added benefit for younger applicants considering further education.
A further eight Team Member Plus roles were available for people aged 18 and over. These positions combine work with the resort's accommodation cleaning team and either the lifeguard or sports teams and pay £13.71 an hour.
Throughout the event, applicants had the chance to meet leaders from Splash Waterworld and the sports teams, find out more about working at the resort and take part in interviews.
Those applying for lifeguard positions also completed swim tests as part of the recruitment process.
The event offered more than just job opportunities, with attendees and their families invited to enjoy a range of free activities after completing their applications.
Guests were able to make a splash on the slides at Splash Waterworld, enjoy a ride on the go-karts and tuck into complimentary pizza.
Butlin's said the event was designed to help local people gain valuable experience, develop new skills and access recognised qualifications while working in a fast-paced holiday resort environment.
It formed part of the resort's preparations for another busy summer season on the Lincolnshire coast.
