Michelle is up for a Lincolnshire sports award... and she needs your vote!

More than 30 finalists, across 11 categories, have been selected from over 200 nominations received.

This year’s awards aim to highlight and thank some of the incredible people, groups, and organisations that have helped to keep Lincolnshire active and healthy during this challenging year.

The winners will be revealed at a virtual award ceremony taking place on Thursday November 12, to be presented by Olympic gymnast, Craig Heap.

Ahead of the ceremony, award organisers Active Lincolnshire are inviting the public to vote for the winner of one of the awards.

The ‘Social Media Influencer’ award, sponsored by root studio, aims to recognise an individual or group that has made a positive impact to lives of residents through 
the power of social media.

Michelle Gledhill, from Mablethorpe, is one of the three finalists in the running for this award.

Michelle is the owner of ‘It’s not just Aerobics’ in Mablethorpe, Sutton and Huttoft, running classes for all ages and ability.

During lockdown, Michelle set up an online isolation group, sharing live exercise classes, inspirational messages and virtual coffee mornings.

Michelle said: “I am absolutely over the moon to even be nominated!

“My participants are the best, they are like my family. I knew they appreciated our Facebook group but this nomination was definitely icing on top.”
