Mobile Covid testing unit operating in Horncastle

The testing unit has been operating from the Stanhope Hall car park since Saturday.

Andy Fox, Assistant Director of Public Health at Lincolnshire County Council said: “This is one of a number of mobile testing units provided throughout the county.

“These are being used to supplement the fixed testing sites to ensure that everyone in Lincolnshire can access testing as close to them as possible.

“It’s important that if people have any symptoms then they isolate themselves and book a test as soon as they can.”

A Lincolnshire County Council spokesperson added: “The mobile testing units generally only stay in situ for four days. Access is via the national booking system so it will flag when it is there.”
