Lincolnshire County Council confirmed eight motorhome owners were issued with parking notices after refusing to leave — despite being asked.

On Thursday (May 28) a spokesman confirmed that all eight incidents had happened in Huttoft.

Councillor Colin Davie, executive councillor for tourism at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “I’m happy to report that in the most part, people stuck to the advice and only used our sites to access the beach in the day time.”
