New church job clinic hailed as abig success

One man who attended has secured full-time employment while two others are now working as volunteers.

Now, organisers hope to be hold clinics every other Monday, starting next Monday (March 7).

The clinics are open to anyone wanting to take up the challenge of finding new employment - whether they are long term unemployed, newly redundant or wanting to return to paid employment after a break.

Support will come from a professional Horncastle based recruitment specialist and experienced volunteers.

One-to-one support will be available on writing CVs, searching for job opportunities and preparing for an interview.

A spokesman said: “If you feel this is for you, please come along. Experience from both sides of the job scene will be a great assistance in this new exciting venture.”
