A new group designed to help women ‘build confidence, improve wellbeing, connect with others and feel empowered’ is to launch in Boston.

The Women’s Empowerment Group will hold its first session on Friday, July 3.

It will meet fortnightly at Tonic Health’s base in Pescod Hall, from 10am to 12pm.

Activities will include crafts, cookings, plus sessions dedicated to confidence, lifeskills, health and wellbeing and the law.

A spokesman said: “We are really excited to launch this new Women’s Empowerment Group in Boston, created in direct response to feedback from women in our local community.

“The group aims to provide a safe, welcoming and supportive space where women can build confidence, improve wellbeing, connect with others and feel empowered.

“We want every woman who may benefit to know that they are welcome and we hope this group will become a positive source of support and friendship within the community.”

There is no need to book.
