New lease of life for Mablethorpe’s Famous Sand Train!

One of the oldest family-run amusement arcades in our area, Jacksons of Mablethorpe, have announced the purchase of Mablethorpe’s Famous Sand Train.

In a post on their Facebook page, Gareth and Kim from Jacksons of Mablethorpe – which has been family run since 1925 – said: “We know the Sand Train was sadly missed last season along with our Land Train, but rest assured we will have both trains back in operation this coming season.

“We are delighted to secure the future of the town’s most iconic attractions.

“We would like to wish Paul (the previous operator of 20 years) all the best for the future.”

The Sand Train has been in operation since the early 1950s.
