No election for Horncastle Town Council vacancy
Council taxpayers in Horncastle won't have to fork out £6,500 for an election in September.
The resignation of David Stott created a vacancy on the town council and led to the prospect of an election.
However, because 10 residents have not written to East Lindsey District Council calling for an election, the vacancy will filled by co-opting a new member.
