On track for some holiday memories
Happy holiday memories on the Lincolnshire coast involved for many a trip on the light railway.
These photographs were taken by Michael Prior back in the summer of 1962 when he was helping to look after a group of boys camping at what was then the YMCA in Humberston.
The Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway’s original site was in North Sea Lane, Humberston. It closed in 1985 and reopened 42 miles down the coast at Skegness Water Leisure Park in 2009.
