A person was led to safety in a fire at a flat in Skegness.

Two crews from Skegness and Wainfleet were scrambled to South Courts in South Parade at 2.18am this morning (Monday). At 02:18 crews Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue tweeted: “This was to a small fire in a bin in the kitchen of a flat.

"Crews used one hose reel to extinguish it and led one person to safety.”

Earlier, a crew from Skegness attended a collision on Chalk Lane, Burgh Le Marsh.
