Crews from Louth, Binbrook and Skegness were called to a fire at Louth Household Waste Recycling Centre, on Fairfield Industrial Estate, Louth, which started this morning (Tuesday).

According to an eye witness, there was smoke and fire damage to a GBM Waste Management warehouse at the facility.

The fire crews left the scene at approximately 10am.

In a Tweet, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: “Crews from @LouthFire, @SkegnessFire and @BinbrookFire attended a building fire on Fairfield Industrial Estate, Louth.

“Fire damage to a large quantity of household waste.

“Crews used two hose reel jets, two main jets and one oscillating ground monitor to extinguish.”
