Police investigating after man's body found near Boston pumping station

Lincolnshire Police were called to a location near the pumping station on Chain Bridge Road after the body was found by a member of the public.

The call reporting the discovery of the body was made at 6.27pm.

Officers remain at the location, and a scene guard is in place.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained.

Detective Chief Inspector Karl Whiffen said: “We are in the early stages of our investigation into this death, and we are still trying to establish the identity of the person.

“I would appeal for anyone with information to contact us – even small details could help our enquiries.”
