Police investigation launched after gravestone damaged in Horncastle
Lincolnshire Police are investigating an incident of criminal damage caused to a gravestone at Horncastle Cemetery.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “A photo has been scratched off the gravestone belonging to Billy Riddel.
“The back of the gravestone has also been damaged with graffiti.

Hide Ad“We believe this has happened sometime between January 1 and March 31, 2021, at Horncastle Cemetery in Boston Road.”
PC Keri Topham added: “Billy’s family have been left very distressed by this mindless act.
“I would ask for anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the cemetery or who may have witnessed this incident happen to contact us.”
