Wolds Division Inspector Sarah Constantine revealed the figures in her latest quarterly report.

She said; “A growing trend, which goes against local council’s Covid efforts to make the footpaths and walkways safe, is inconsiderate parking on the footpath, entrances or yellow lined roads.

“The NPT have issued eight FPN for unnecessary obstruction.

“Work was also been done at the gates of Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School due to concerns raised by the school about parking obstructions hampering their stay safe protocols due to Covid.”

There have been long-standing complaints about parking issues at other schools - including Horncastle Community Primary School and St Lawrence School on Bowl Alley Lane.
