Police want to speak to man in connection with attempted robbery at a Gainsborough bank

Lincolnshire Police believe the man pictured can help with an attempted robbery in Gainsborough.

Just before 1pm on Tuesday, June 9, a man walked into the HSBC bank in Gainsborough and threatened staff before leaving empty handed.

No weapon was seen and no-one in the bank was injured.

The man left the bank and walked along Curtis Walk.

He is described as being in his 40s with short light brown hair. He was wearing black trousers, a grey jacket and a black and white baseball cap with a red rim.

As he left the bank and walked along Curtis Walk he took his hat off but later put it back on again.
