Praise for Priory’s ‘amazing’ gesture to feed Louth residents
Paul Hughill, who has run the hotel for almost two decades, leapt into action shortly after the coronavirus ‘lock down’ began, and launched a new service to help provide meals for those in the community who are struggling to feed themselves or their family.
Paul said: “Thank you to every amazing person in our community who is doing their bit. I love this town.

“This isn’t fancy food, just one pot nutritious cooking.”
“Thank you to everyone who is helping. If you know of someone in your neighbourhood who needs us feel free to get in contact.
“Stay safe everyone and keep inspiring each other to show why Louth is so special.”
Paul said the service would be free of charge for as long as was viable, and this week he revealed that thanks to the support from other local businesses - including the Boar’s Head, the Auction House, the Woolpack and Pocklington’s Bakery - the service would be able to continue ‘all the way through’. the coronavirus pandemic.
