The donation on behalf of Skegness Town Council was presented by Deputy Mayor Coun Billy Brookes to Coun Tony Tye, who is also a Rotarian.

Skegness Rotary Club appealed to the council to help them provide each local school with a peace area - a garden area where the child can sit, go dig a little, weed, or chill out before going back into the classroom.

The funding from Skegness Town Council will provide watering cans, trowels, plant pots and forks for this project.
