Public backing for Horncastle Youth Centre
A recent public consultation has given strong backing to a campaign to keep Horncastle Youth Centre open.
The future of the centre - home to many groups and organisations - was thrown into doubt earlier this year when the County Council threatened to close it - due to high repair costs.
A Working Group - led by town councillor Dominic Hinkins - has since launched a campaign to keep the hall open. In a report presented to town councillors last week, Coun Hinkins said the group hoped to complete a business plan by the end of this month.
