Market Rasen Action Group (MRAG) has a new mission for another community project.

They are encouraging all ages to get involved making ‘lots and lots’ of pom poms, particularly rainbow pom poms.

MRAG chairman Julie Lambie said: “This a great project everyone can get involved with - children, adults, the elderly and disabled.

“So, grab those balls of wool, cut your cardboard doughnuts out and you’re ready.”

The pom poms will be used to make a ‘pom pom curtain’, so remember to leave a hanging loop.

Julie added: “The pom poms will be displayed in one of the town’s empty shops and will also join up with the Mayflower Festival; more details on that to follow from the town council.”

Finished pom poms can be dropped off at 1 Coronation Road in the red donation box.
