READER PICTURE: Mother Nature pays ‘snow’ attention

Last week, following the vernal equinox and the astronomical start of spring, we featured an autumnal photo in the Reader Picture space as we reflected on the change of seasons in general.

That picture had been shared with us a number of weeks earlier, but this one was posted on our Facebook page at the weekend and acts as a suitable follow-up, before we truly commit to the idea of warmer weather.

This photo was shared with The Standard by Amelia Goose and amusingly shows Mother Nature paying little attention to the instruction to leave nothing on the beach but footprints. Instead depositing a thin layer of snow far and wide.
