There are some lovely details on show: the use of converging lines; the clash between the ordered pattern on the sea defence with the rough and tumble of the North Sea; and the symmetry on either side of the horizon between the wave breaking and the cloud line. However, what may be most impressive is the commitment to get this snap as the waves came crashing towards the camera!
