Renewed appeal for help in tracing woman missing in Skegness

Police have made a renewed appeal for help in tracing a 60-year-old woman who went missing in Skegness.

Lincolnshire Police say Shirley Cranston left her vehicle in the North End car park in North Parade, Skegness, in the early hours of Thursday, March 12 and has not been seen since. .

Detective Inspector Tim Wilkinson said: “We are very concerned for Shirley, and our search teams have been in Skegness over the past few days.

“Even the smallest detail could prove crucial, so I would ask anyone who has information to call 101 as it may help us to find Shirley.”

As well as the police investigation, around 100 members of Shirley's family,friends and volunteers searched the Winthorpe and Gibraltar Point areas this morning, starting in the North Parade car park.

:Shirley is described as 5ft 7ins tall and often wears a headscarf.
