Roxii Emmerson, a Year Five pupil at Lacey Garden, walked all the way from Louth to Belchford - a hilly walk with a distance of almost 11 miles - on March 27,

She decided to support the animals after hearing the sad news about The Ark’s struggles during the pandemic.

In addition to asking for sponsorships for her long walk, Roxii also requested donations of essential items for the animals at The Ark.

Amy said: “Roxii would like to say a big thank you to all the people and the local businesses for helping her raise well over her target, and for being so generous.”
