The event was held in aid of local charities, including the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

Runners were given a Santa costume to take part as part of their entry fee and the course was around 5k, up and down the seafront.

Families took part and even dogs took part in fancy dress with their owners.

All received a medal at the finish line.
