The skate park at St John’s Park has been fenced off after an inspection ROSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) yesterday.
Boston Borough Council say the closure is necessary because of safety issues identified in the inspection.
The council has urged people to adhere to the notice and not use the equipment.
A spokesperson for Boston Council said yesterday: “Following a ROSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) inspection earlier today we have isolated the skate park equipment at St John’s Park, Skirbeck Road.
“The closure is necessary to protect the safety of users from defects identified in the recent inspection.
“We ask people to not use the equipment and to respect the fencing which is protecting park users.”
