Adam Driver, who celebrated his 34th birthday on October 14, is raising funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

"I am asking for people to donate what they can instead of buying me a card, a drink or a present," Adam explained.

"I’m getting too old for people to be buying me things and there are people in the world that the donations will help a lot more than a pint in the pub will help me!

"The fundraiser started on October 7 and in one week on the day of my birthday we had raised £199,

"I was hit by a surprise donation from a local business owner in Skegness, who I’ve never even met, who helped me smash my initial target from their donation alone, so everything else is a bonus.

"But why stop there? It's is for an amazing cause."

Adam plans to continue raising funds throughout October and has set a new target of £250.

However, he says he is also hoping to raise awareness for the work the charity does.

"It would be greatly appreciated by myself and the people who will benefit from the donations. especially if we can get past the target for the second time," he said.
