“You can achieve so much with a smile, compassion and active listening, and genuinely caring about how people are,” she said.

Her role focuses on helping people manage the wider challenges that can come with a cancer diagnosis, including financial pressures, transport difficulties and isolation.

Among her achievements is a pioneering partnership with Anglian Water to ensure patients do not go without water during treatment due to financial concerns, as well as initiatives to improve digital access and travel to appointments.

Ellie Sadler, Living with Cancer Community and Quality Programme Manager, praised Chloe’s work.

She said: “I am incredibly proud of Chloe and delighted to see her recognised with the Macmillan Rising Star Award.

“She consistently goes above and beyond to meet the needs of people living with cancer in Lincolnshire, and this award reflects her compassion, commitment and impact.”
