As part of week of themed activities, sixth form students created a display in honour of those who have given their lives in the service of democratic freedoms and way of life.

On Armistice Day itself, head boy Ben Brown and head girl Abbie Young laid a wreath at the war memorial at St Matthew’s Church, Skegness.

In addition, a video Ben and Abbie had produced on the subject of Remembrance was also shared with the school after it observed the two-minute silence at 11am.

Principal Todd Johnson said: “I am really proud that the school community was still able to mark Armistice Day despite the current pandemic.”
