Hosted by ClubSpa at Kenwick Park Hotel, Rotary Club members, non-members and local businesses donned their lycra and took to the ‘Spivi’ virtual cycling studio to raise funds. More than 100 cyclists took part and raised £1,800 for the Louth Rotary Benevolent Fund. Every penny raised from the event will go directly to local causes and community groups selected by the Rotary Club.

The organiser, Rotarian Alan Curtis, said: “This was an incredibly successful event, attracting riders from the business community as well as friends and families. It is only possible thanks to the generosity of the management of Club Spa at Kenwick.

“They allowed us to use their spa and cycle studio for free, and also supported the event by lending us their duty manager and fitness instructor, Kyle Glentworth.

“Kyle did an amazing job, keeping the motivation and energy high throughout the day, while Rotarians gave their time to provide support services for the event.”
