“Following our internal track and trace the staff member and students impacted have been isolating.

“Across the weekend we have been informed of additional positive test results, within the school.

“We have been in constant contact with local and east midlands public health team, and, in line with government guidance, have made the difficult decision to close the site with many staff and students now self isolating, for the next 14 days as a precaution.

“The safety of our staff and students is our main priority, and we have a very robust risk assessment in place, which we continue to follow.
