Summer dog ban returns to popular Lincolnshire Blue Flag beaches
Dog owners are being reminded that seasonal restrictions are now back in place on several popular beaches across Lincolnshire.
Lincolnshire Police have issued a reminder that the Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) dog ban came into effect on May 1 and will remain in place until September 30.
The restrictions apply to the central beaches at Mablethorpe, Sutton on Sea and Skegness during the summer season.
Police say the measures are designed to help keep beaches “safe and clean for everyone” during the busy holiday months.

Dog-friendly beaches that remain accessible throughout the summer include Ingoldmells South Beach, Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe, Chapel St Leonards, Huttoft and Moggs Eye, Winthorpe, Anderby Creek and Wolla Bank, Trusthorpe and Sandilands.
Officers are also reminding visitors that failure to comply with the PSPO rules could result in East Lindsey District Council issuing a Fixed Penalty Notice.
