Team at Boston's Asda store get into Children in Need spirit

Staff at Boston's Asda store joined in the Children in Need fun yesterday - and helped raise cash for many deserving causes.

Colleagues at the dressed up and worked in Pudsey Bear clothing to mark the huge national fund-raiser - which raised £37m nationwide yesterday.

Customers were able donate at the Lister Way store to the cause at collection buckets on the manned checkouts or by adding a donation to their shopping at self-service checkouts.

The store's community champion, Stephen Bromby, usually escorts, Pudsey Bear - the charity's cuddly mascot - around local schools, but was unable to do that this year because of coronavirus,

So he and Pudsey got together ahead of the big day and recorded eighteen special thank you messages for local primary schools instead, which was shown at schools around the district during yesterday's fundraising fun.
